This Cookie Policy explains how Flikac uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit the Flikac website. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy. You can change your choices at any time using the Cookie Settings link in the footer.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember your actions and preferences, keep you signed in, and understand how the site is used. Similar technologies such as local storage and pixels serve comparable purposes and are covered by this Policy.
2. Categories We Use
Flikac groups cookies into four categories. Only essential cookies are active by default; the rest load only after you grant consent for that category.
- Essential – required for security, authentication, and core website functionality. These cannot be disabled.
- Analytics – help us understand how visitors use Flikac so we can improve the website.
- Functional – remember your preferences and personalize your experience.
- Marketing – help measure advertising performance and provide more relevant content.
At present, Flikac sets no cookie in the Analytics, Functional or Marketing categories. The only cookies currently used are the essential ones described above, together with the cookie that records your consent choice. The three optional toggles therefore control nothing today. They are kept in the banner because we expect to use some of these categories as the Services develop, and because removing a category and reinstating it later would require asking every visitor to choose again.
3. Managing Your Preferences
When you first visit, a consent banner lets you accept all cookies, reject non-essential cookies, or choose per category. Your choice is stored in a first-party cookie so the banner does not reappear on every page. You can reopen your preferences at any time from the Cookie Settings link in the footer, or clear cookies through your browser settings.
4. Third-Party Cookies
Flikac does not currently use any third-party analytics, advertising or customer-support provider, so no third-party cookie is set on this website at all. If that changes, cookies in the Analytics, Functional or Marketing categories may be set by those providers, who would process data under their own privacy policies, and none would be set until you had granted consent for the relevant category.
5. How Long Cookies Last
Session cookies expire when you close your browser. Persistent cookies, including your consent choice, remain for a set period (typically up to six months) unless you clear them sooner.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the website where appropriate, and the "Last updated" date above will change.
